April 2, 2008 (Sawf News) - Still smarting from her western styling fiasco in Heyy Babby, Vidya Balan sought safety in yards of fabric, dressed in a green and blue color anarkali dress with a heavy pink dupatta, at Sabyasachi Mukherjee's LFW show at NVPA, Mumbai Tuesday, April 1.
She looked good and while we concede that she always looks good to the Sawf News team, we are being objective here. She looked good good!
But then she has always looked good in ethnic wear. The problem is in her ability to carry of western styles. That is what is broke and that is what she needs to be fixed, by her hitting the gym hard and long.

What is the point in looking good dressed up like a 50 year old when you are just 30!
Balan's anarkali style outfit consisted of an empire waist ankle length dress with churidar and a heavy dupatta.
The dress had a moss green bodice with a scoop neckline and matching green wide borders on the full skirt. It was accented with gold lace.
Her magenta pink dupatta, slung over her left shoulder and wrapped around the right arm, had large corner gold embroidery detail, gold lace and green border matching with the shirt.

The heavy material of her dress, its color and styling seemed more suited for winter months.
She was sans jewelry, an oddity with ethnic attire, and accessorized with black strappy sandals.
She had left her straight hair open falling on her back with a left side parting.
Vidya's beautiful facial features and enigmatic smile, but not her dress, stole the show.
