Singh is Kinng poster. Photo Credit: BBMEMay 10, 2008 (Sawf News) - Akshay Kumar's forthcoming film Singh is Kinng will feature a big name international star all right, but not Snoop Dogg.
"I have been flooded with rumors that Snoop Dogg is in the movie but it's not true," Vipul Shah, head honcho of Block Buster Movie Entertainers which is producing the film, told HTC.
"We're trying to loop in an international artist and the talks are being finalized. We will know in 10 days who that artist will be," he adds.
Filming is complete for the action comedy, directed by Anees Bazmee, except for a song sequence at the start of the film that features Akshay and Katrina Kaif when they first meet.
The song sequence is to be shot with the pyramids as the backdrop.
Shooting began in November in Australia where almost half the film was canned. The rest of the film has been shot in Punjab and Mumbai.
The film is tagged as an unadulterated ode to the land of Punjab and Punjabiyat and will be released in theatres on August 8.
