June 11, 2008 (Sawf News) - In an interview with Times TV Salman Khan is reported to have acknowledged that Katrina is his girl and marriage will happen.

The footage aired by Times TV shows Tammana Inamdar, presumably speaking about Salman's marriage plans, asking him, "Most people are possibly going to guess that it is Katrina. Are they right or wrong?"

"It will happen. When it has to happen, it will happen. It will happen soon, sooner, late, later, but I guess it is bound to happen," Salman responded.

So did he acknowledge that he and Katrina were an item and plan to marry?

Possibly. The question is - Why did he not give a direct answer?

In my opinion he didn't say he'll marry Katrina sooner or later, he implied that eventually he'll get married. Katrina's career is soaring, and any Bollywood actress knows that getting married is "Harakiri" to their career. She seems to be a nice and smart girl, and I think her career is very important to her... So maybe it works out for both of them, since none of them seem to be in a hurry to get married. To me it seems that Salman gets edgy whenever asked about marriage. Honestly, I can't imagine a guy like him tied down in a marriage, lol! :) He's a free bird, a rebel at heart, and the more he feels pressured, the higher he'll fly to get away from clutches. ;)
