July 17, 2008 (Sawf News) - Salman Khan made a reference to an unnamed former girlfriend on his blog post this morning; a reference that could be construed as uncharitable, but was probably in good humor.
Here is the text of Salman Khan's post...
"Some say that marriage is like Gorilla Warfare… spouses attack each other and hide behind mountains of their pride, prejudice and weakness. They say that observing marriages is what gave ideas of developing Gorilla Warfare techniques. It is said that Marilyn Monroe approached Bernard Shaw for marriage in the hope that their children will have her beauty and his brains. Bernard Shaw declined for fear that the children might end up having his face and her brains! I had a similar fear once about a similar relationship.
My father Salim Khan assured parents of his Hindu beloved that there might be seventeen hundred differences between them but religion shall never be one of them. He did what he said…
Marriage is as old as the hills and equally mysterious also. It is also said that LOVE IS MORAL without marriage but marriage without LOVE is certainly immoral."
The question of course is which ex was Salman referring to? Well we are not about to give any prizes for that!
We wonder if Salman is trying to stem a slide in the TRP ratings of 10 Ka Dum by stirring the hornet's nest.
