"I agree that Bollywood is a very male-centric industry. But, I expect the media to be more intelligent," she fumed.
"I may not be 20 anymore but that doesn't mean I look very old and exhausted with wrinkles on my face. I am requesting people to drop assumptions about women who reach 30. When 40 plus heroes are paired opposite much younger heroines then no one talks about it but when I am romantically paired with heroes who are just 2-3 years younger than me, a big deal is being made out of it? It is really unfortunate."
"Aishwarya Rai married a man younger than her age, so what difference is it going to make. They are leading a happy married life aren't they?" she added.
