August 11, 2008 (Sawf News) - No! We are not talking about Shah Rukh Khan the dog, the one who belongs to the caretaker of Aamir Khan's house. This one was probably a stray and it wasn't the dog who decided Aamir's food was not good enough for him but Aamir!
Aamir Khan is known to be a perfectionist but sometimes he does go too far, and this isn't any media hype.
Aamir was recently invited to a preview screening of the film Mumbai Meri Jaan at the Adlabs preview theatre in Filmcity, Goregaon.
He did not arrive fashionably late for the screening scheduled at 9 pm, as most Bollywood stars would do. Instead, he arrived a full hour ahead of the time!
Guess what was Aamir carrying when he arrived? A jacket and a shawl! A theatre can get chilly during a preview because of the limited number of people inside and Aamir wasn't taking any chances!
Still not convinced Aamir is a perfectionist? Well, read what our eyewitness source tells us transpired later.
"Invitees to the special show included many important members of the film fraternity so a lot of exotic snacks were served during the interval. While everyone gorged on them, Aamir scrupulously avoided them," says our source. "As everyone began to wonder what was up with Aamir his Man Friday arrived carrying home made food in a Tiffin box! Aamir triumphantly took out some brown bread and an egg white omlette from it and started munching on it. He was even seen carrying his own large white and silver coffee mug and delicately sipping his fix of caffeine from it."
"Just around the time when he was finishing his home made snack, a dog kept hovering around him expecting to be fed some bread crumbs but Aamir smiled at him and said, 'You won't be able to digest this as this is my health food.'
"But the dog still continued hovering around him. A waiter then came carrying a tray of snacks and Aamir took some and gave it to his canine fan. He winked at the waiter and told him, 'Just consider that its me not him (pointing at the dog) who had it.'"
