August 29, 2008 (Sawf News) - Sunny Deol and Bobby Deol lent some muscle to a recently canned episode of Amul Star Voice of India that airs at 10 pm on Saturday, August 30th, on Star Plus to promote their upcoming film Chamku.
The appearance lifted the air of despondency caused by the elimination in the earlier episode and cheered the contestants who welcomed the brother duo singing Dillagi.

Sunny and Bobby talked to the audience and the contestants about Chamku and the Deols banner Vijayta Films, which is completing 25 years. The brothers congratulated the participants for having reached so far in the contests and wished them all the luck in the days ahead.
Chamku, directed by Kabir Kaushik, is a thriller starring Bobby Deol, Priyanka Chopra, Irrfan Khan, Ritesh Deshmukh and Arshad Warsi.
The plot revolves around a boy, Chandrama Singh (Bobby Deol), alias Chamku, whose family is brutally murdered and the boy is brought up by Naxalites in Southern Bihar. Chamku is rescued under a covert government operation, jointly conceived by IB and RAW, and trained as an undercover agent. He learns to kill and soon becomes the best, specializing in encounters and political assassinations.
His life changes completely when he meets Priyanka Chopra, a kindergarten teacher. From her he learns that life is beautiful…but his past comes and stands in his face.
The film was released in theatres on August 29.

On the episode Saturday, August 30th
Ritisha started off the musical evening as she sang Haayo rabba mai ki karaan from Bobby Deol's upcoming movie Chamku. Ritisha's heart rendering performance made Sunny nostalgic as he recalled how his dad Dharam ji had contributed to the lyrics of this song. Zakir sang the ultimate Punjabi number of Sunny Deol Mai nikla gaddi le ke. Sukhwinder Sigh loved his power packed performance and requested him to repeat the song while the Deol brothers went on stage to perform a jig. Another talented contestant Shayantani brought in the romantic mood with her rendition of the soft number Chori chori jub nazrein mili.

The rockstar Ryan yet again caught the attention of the judges as he performed on Shaka laka boom boom. Monty Sharma could see the future Voice of India in Rohit as he lend his voice to ya Rabba while Vipul dedicated the title track of Apne to the entire Deol family. Vipul, being a great fan of Sunny, requested him to perform on the famous Dhai kilo dialogue and Sunny did not disappoint him. Ravi performed on Bobby's dance number Jhoom barabar jhoom and dedicated the song to him. The 'surili' Saptaparna gave her best performance as she sang Tinka Tinka while the last contestant Vinti came up with the soft number Meri zindagi me ajnabi ka intezaar hai.
