Referring to his modeling assignment, Bachchan, 66, wrote this on his blog on September 1.
"They want to launch the issue with me on the cover. I cannot understand this but here I am at call.
"We shoot for the next two days in designer settings and ambiance. I am awkward at their choice of subject. But they are happy and content. I really have no business to be on a design and fashion magazine. They will fit me into exotic couture garments and people of still camera renown shall shoot me from various angles at various locations."
"One is not supposed to be doing this at age 66 !! I am self conscious and embarrassed. But… I do it for a friend," he adds coyly.

Parisian's seem to love him too. The paparazzo who took the picture filed it with the caption:
