September 9, 2008 (Sawf News) - Salman Khan, who recently went down with a stomach ailment has now injured his foot, putting his shooting schedule in disarray and sending filmmakers into a tizzy!
"A day after Ganpati visarjan, Salman was helping put the house back on order since a lot of furniture had been re-arranged to accommodate the Ganesh idol," a close friend of Salman told us. "While moving one huge piece of wooden furniture he ended up badly hurting his toes."
"The injury is not really very serious and nor did it lead to any open wound. But its been extremely painful for him and since that day (Friday) till today he is been limping around in the house. He has avoided going out unless necessary. When he goes out he sports just floaters and not his usual shoes." the pal added.
The injury has caused a delay in the filming of a song and dance sequence for Boney Kapoor's Wanted: Dead and Alive, a film that is woefully behind schedule already.
An official from Boney Kapoor's production house told us, "We had to cancel our shoot for the dance number between Salman and Ayesha Takia for our film because of Salman's foot injury. He is scheduled to leave for London on September 15th to shoot Vipul Shah's London Dreams. We just hope he gets better in a day or two. The dance number we require him for is just a two day shoot in Mumbai's Filmcity."
A few weeks back Salman was taken in ill on the sets of Subhash Ghai's Yuvraaj after he was vomiting on the sets. The entire shooting schedule involving him had to be canceled!
