September 13, 2008 (Sawf News) - Despite a Muslim cleric having issued a fatwa against his family for celebrating Ganeshotsav at his home in Mumbai, Salman Khan's final post on his '10 Ka Dum' blog, fondly referred to the upcoming Ganapati immersion on Sunday, September 14.
The final episode of Salman Khan's endearing TV reality game show 10 Ka Dum, will air on the day of the Ganapati immersion.
Referring to the two events Salman says:
"The most sung song on Ganapati immersion is Aab ke baras louke awa. The poet implies that this year will be a good year due to the blessings of Ganpati and good times fly fast that's what the last phrase means, hence the next season of Ganpati worship will come earlier."
As the New Year flies fast, Salman hopes it will give him the opportunity to host another season of 10 Ka Dum
I "hope the next season will come soon," he says.
Regular readers of Salman Khan's 10 Ka Dum blog are going to miss the crisp and endearing posts through which the 42-year-old Bollywood super star bared his heart and soul.
This is how Salman ended his final post.
"Its really heartening that a lot of people responded to this blog and I thank Sony people to have presented it so well. So friends, God willing we shall soon be in touch with each other again. We go away only to come back…love you all."
The chief of Darul-Uloom Hijaziya Chishti, Mumbai, issued a 'fatwa' urging a religious boycott of the entire Khan family on Wednesday for celebrating Ganeshotsav at their home.
