Prince is important for Vivek since it rides on his shoulders alone, unlike his upcoming release Kurbaan which co-stars Saif Ali Khan as the male lead. Vivek's next, RGV helmed Rakta Charitra also features him as solo male lead.
Kurbaan producer Karan Johar has only good things to say about Vivek and believes he will make heads turn with his role in the film.
"Vivek is a good actor and he has proven himself in each of the films where he has been given a chance to perform."
Johar brushes aside media stories of Vivek being sidelined in Kurbaan. He says Vivek is a surprise packet in the film.
"Let audiences watch him without expectations and be impressed with what they see."
Prince and Veer are both high action dramas with Prince being contemporary and Veer a period film.
