November 18, 2009, (Sawf News) - Farhan Akhtar and Ritesh Sidhwani production's thriller, Crooked, is set to begin filming on January 14, but Aishwarya Rai is not going to be a part of the film.
Aishwarya, who has been juggling multiple projects lately, has prioritized completion of Vipul Shah's Akshay Kumar starrer, Action Replay over Crooked.
Farhan says Crooked can't be delayed any further because of his pending projects - his sister Zoya Akhtar's Spain based film, starring him with co-stars Hrithik Roshan and Abhay Deol, begins filming on April 5. In September 2010 he will begin filming for Don 3.
With Aishwarya's exit, Crooked is left without a female lead and two additional actresses. The producers are looking for fresh faces.
"We are now looking for a completely new face in Crooked, which actually requires three new girls," said Sidhwani.
