Photo Credit: ColorsNovember 23, 2009, (Sawf News) - Akshay Kumar can't understand the brouhaha surrounding his attachment to 'Tees Maar Khan' helmed by Farah Khan who in the past has worked exclusively with Shah Rukh Khan.
It's not that he is stealing work from Shah Rukh, says Kumar.
Bollywood makes 180 films and there are just 10 heroes to do them so each hero has got enough work, he adds.
Akshay doubts the film was ever meant for Khan, and believes it is well suited to his image.
"I play a con-man, a real smart-ass."
Akshay knows Farah well having worked with her family in three films. He starred in her husband Shirish's directorial debut, Jaaneman. He then worked with Farah's brother Sajid Khan in Heyy Babyy and again in the upcoming comedy Housefull.
Akshay will begin filming for the Shirish Kunder penned Tees Maar Khan in March 2010, soon after completing Priyadarshan's Khatta Meetha.
