November 25, 2009, (Sawf News) - Salman Khan has been keen to make a sequel to his 2007 box-office hit Partner and it seems his wish will be fulfilled soon, says brother Sohail Khan.
"After Dabangg, we want to start Partner 2. Everyone keeps telling us sequels ka zamana hai. Look how well the sequels to Golmaal have done!" Sohail told TOI.
Sohail says the Partner team, including helmer David Dhawan, is trying hard to come up with a script that will outdo the original.
"All of us - Salman, Govinda, David Dhawan and I- have been told to work on an idea," Sohail added.
There were reports that Salman Khan refused to work with David Dhawan for Sanki, a remake of the Tamil comedy Kick, because he is upset with Dhawan for making Hook Ya Crook starring John Abraham ahead of Partner 2.
Brother Sohail isn't aware of any such issue; he considers Dhawan to be as much a part of Partner as Salman and Govinda.
Salman is currently filming for Dabaang in Wai.
