Genelia became brand ambassador for Garnier Light fairness cream on January 29, 2010.
Other stars that pimp fairness products for fat paychecks include Deepika Padukone (Neutrogena Fine Fairness), Sonam Kapoor (L'Oreal white perfect), Katrina Kaif ( Olay's skin whitening cream) and John Abraham (Garnier Men fairness cream).
Genelia will be next seen in UTV Spotboy Pictures Hook Ya Crook directed by David Dhawan with co-stars Naseeruddin Shah, John Abraham, Shreyas Talpade, Aditya Pancholi, Kay Kay Menon, Ashutosh Rana, Mahendra Singh Dhoni, Murli Sharma and Pawan Malhotra.
The film hits theatres on March 19.
