Break Ke Baad is a modern day love story that tracks a couple after their break up. Sharmila plays a pivotal role in the film as a beautiful retired actress who relinquished her career in her prime to be a hands-on mother to her daughter (Deepika).
The film is being helmed by Danish Aslam and produced by Kunal Kohli.
Imran watched the start of the film's production early morning on Wednesday, March 10, and later tweeted:
Watched them take the first shot of Break Ke Baad, where my credit will appear onscreen. An auspicious beginning? Hope so. Good night.
Production for I Hate Love Stories is finally coming to an end. The film has been in the news amidst reports of a romantic spark having ignited between the film's young director Punit Malhotra and leading lady Sonam Kapoor.
Imran alluded to the rumors in an earlier tweet:
Man, @DoP_Bose and @punitdmalhotra are getting really senti about IHLS coming to an end... Am nervous they're going to start crying on set.
Interestingly, a worried Karan Johar, producer of IHLS, administered a public dressing down to his director hours ago on Twitter:
@punitdmalhotra...focus on the film my dear and not your love life...those problems can wait...
It remains to be seen if the Sonam - Punit romance endures the break-up of the production unit and the imperatives of their professional careers.
