July 06, 2009, (Sawf News) - Madonna paid a stirring tribute to Michael Jackson when she resumed her Sweet and Sticky tour in London on Saturday, July 4.
She was performing at the O2 Arena, where Jackson was scheduled to perform his 50 This Is It concerts.
A picture of young Michael appeared on a screen behind Madonna as she performed her classic, Holiday. Later a Michael impersonator appeared on stage to the beats of Billie Jean Kings and performed many of the amazing dance routines that Michael pioneered, including the Moon walk.
"All right people. Let's give it up for one of the greatest artists the world has ever known – Michael Jackson. Long live the king," Madonna told the crowd as the tribute ended.
