X-Files star Gillian Anderson has revealed that she and David Duchovny are set to reunite for a third instalment of the hit film series.
The film could be out in 2012, Anderson revealed.
Speaking during an appearance at the Sarajevo Film Festival, Anderson said: "There isn't any reason not to do it.
"I feel a certain commitment to that group of people that I worked with and we still enjoy doing it, when we do it.
"There is no reason why not to come together and do it again. If they can pull it off, we'll find some reason to make it."
Anderson and Duchovny starred in The X-Files TV series throughout the 1990s.
