26 April 2007 (sawf News) - Time magazine has called her “impossibly lovely”. She was named as one of the 50 Most Beautiful in People magazine’s 2003 issue. Not to mention the ingénue of television series Dawson’s Creek. Give up yet? She’s actress Katie Holmes.
Life and Hollywood have been kind to Holmes. She won an MTV Movie Award for Best Breakthrough Performance for a role in Disturbing Behavior and has done endorsements for Garnier hair color, Gap clothing, and Coach leather goods company apart from numerous magazine spreads. The five foot nine stunner emerged from trysts with Dawson’s co-star Joshua Jackson and actor Chris Klein to later marry heavyweight Tom Cruise in a lavish Italian castle and become a mom.
With daughter Suri recently turning one, the Cruises had much to be thankful for. On her birthday, everyone feasted on pizza and cupcakes prepared by Sprinkles, a posh bakery located in Beverly Hills. Their flavors range from banana and lemon coconut to peanut butter chip, feature imported ingredients, and the cakes retail for $36.00 a dozen. Apparently, they are enough to make Katie’s mouth salivate! There were even piñatas in dragonfly and butterfly designs. Seemingly, marriage and motherhood agree with the young Katie Holmes, now Cruise.

Seen in a recent photograph on the Louisiana set of her new film Mad Money with co-stars Queen Latifah and Diane Keaton, Katie looks like a whole new person. Still the pretty face we always admired, but now with an air of class and sophistication we don’t expect from a 28-year-old, even in Hollywood. Donning a half-buttoned white cardigan, wide-legged pants and trendy open-toed wedges, Holmes restarts her film career after giving birth to Suri. She is escorted back to her trailer with no less than two security guards and watched over by police officers. But it’s all par for the course when your significant other is a box-office legend.

Its all about Katie Holmes now....I agree with our radio station on KIIS FM commentators that she's Audrey-esque. Very much like our modern day Audrey Hepburn. Above all not only she's a promising H-Wood talent but her personality and values makes her stand out.

Katie's got this allure thing going on and she's already going to be hot property in Hollywood.
She's a tough one because all eyes are on her and everything she does will be held with high standards. Including her movies. I rather see her in Batman but my sisters and girlfriend will no doubt drag me to watch this movie. Katie surely has matured from this preppy girl next door to a sexy knockout.
