September 9, 2008 (Sawf News) - Emma Watson blended sartorial sophistication and beauty at the National Movie Awards 2008 at the Royal Festival Hall, South Bank, London, UK on Monday, September 8, 2008.
The teenager, who could well become a style icon, wore a Grecian-style white chiffon dress by Alexander McQueen. The floor grazing gown had a jeweled top and a front slit.
She matched the gown with white pumps, also by Alexander McQueen, with antique-style brooch accent on vamp, and accessorized with magnificent flower ear tops and a black circular purse.

Her golden hair was styled in an updo with a side parting and wisps peeping out on the sides and at the back. She kept her make up subtle but accentuated her eyes with thick black mascara.
Emma, who turned 18 on April 15 and took control of her $20 million estate amassed acting in the Harry Potter series as Hermione Granger, bought a $2 million ski chalet in the fashionable French resort of Meribel recently.
The star is a keen skier and had reasons to celebrate, other than turning an adult and being able to take her own financial decisions; she recently aced her 'A' level exams with three A's in English Literature, History of Art and Geography. Her grades qualify her for admission to Cambridge University but the star is as yet undecided on when to enroll.
"The house is Emma's way of celebrating her recent straight As at A-level and finally getting her hands on some of her hard-earned cash," a friend told the Daily Telegraph. "She worked really hard this year and didn't have much of a birthday party so this was her present to herself."
