August 17, 2009, (Splash News) - Fashion designer Christian Audigier has unveiled a clothing line that he was working on with Michael Jackson before the King of Pop's sudden death – including a pair of rhinestone socks and a rhinestone glove.

Audigier showed off a selection of designs during an appearance on US television.

Among the Jacko-inspired clothes was a red, Thriller-style jacket, emblazoned with the star's signature – expected to sell for $250.

French-born Audigier, 51, claims that Jackson – who died at the age of 50 on 25 June, in Los Angeles after he suffered cardiac arrest – approved each one of the 100 designs himself, which they began working on together in 2007.

He said: "[Michael] said 'I want to do a line, and I want to have you working on the merchandising.'

"He was very excited."

The designer, who is best known for his brash, tattoo-inspired Ed Hardy fashions, told a US newspaper earlier this month: "I was working on merchandising with him [Jackson] and launching a new line of clothes, which was actually Michael's dream.

"What he wanted from me was the T-shirts and the hoodies and the caps."

The designs were originally created as part of Jacko's This Is It comeback tour.
