Photo Credit: Splash NewsOctober 22, 2009, (Splash News) - Fashion guru Stella McCartney has revealed that her four-year-old son Miller gave her tips on the designs for her new range of clothing for GapKids.
The 38-year-old mum-of-three was asked to produce new collections for the high-street clothes chain.
McCartney, who also has a daughter, Bailey, three, and another son, Beckett, 18 months, said: "My eldest son is just starting to have a mind of his own. I was going to do pirates and he said: 'Nah, don't do pirates.'
"It suddenly dawned on me that this wasn't just about what parents want to put on their kids, but about what kids will choose themselves.
"I needed to make every piece [of clothing] one that my children wanted to wear."
The daughter of legendary ex-Beatles rocker Paul McCartney also said that she wanted to make pieces "you can throw in the washing machine every other day and they get better with age".
And in a nod to her Beatles heritage, McCartney included "a kind of Sergeant Pepper jacket" in the collection that is due to arrive in Gap stores in early November.
