The 24-year-old Happy singer was seen chatting to McCartney, 38, backstage at the Children In Need gig at the Royal Albert Hall, in London.
A source said: "Leona and Stella got on famously. They are both vegetarians, don't wear leather and are huge animal lovers.
"The [fashion] line would be very animal-friendly."
