She accessorized with black strappy heels, a silver glittering clutch and a cocktail ring in her left hand middle finger. Her dark hair looked exotic, styled in an updo with a side parting and curls framing her face. Her look and light makeup was delightfully age appropriate.
She flashed smiles posing on the red carpet. She cozied up to Shakira on the red carpet and the two singers posed for the photogs striking similar poses.
Selena and BFF Demi Lovato were presenters at the awards ceremony.
Selena said she was most looking forward to Rihanna's performance at the awards:
"Rihanna. I love her,"
Her take on an awards show like AMA, Selena said, "It's about all coming together and just enjoying music."
