Photo Credit: Jackson Lee / Splash News/File13 December 2007 (Sawf News) - Failure to win a Grammy nomination is causing rumblings of discontent amidst Fall Out Boy band mates who believe that bassist Pete Wentz's romance with Ashlee Simpson could be affecting public opinion about the band.
"Grammy voters are fed up with Ashlee after she was caught lip-synching," OK! quotes a friend of the band as saying.
"And her relationship with Pete has definitely affected public opinion of the band."
Ashlee, who was caught lip synching on Saturday Night Live (October 23-24, 2004), has been seeing Pete Wentz since late 2006.
As to the extent of the discontent the source says, "The guys in Fall Out Boy are furious. They think everything Ashlee touches is poison, and they really want her to stop touching Pete!"
