Sienna Miller and Balthazar Getty. Photo Credit: PR PhotosJuly 23, 2008 (Sawf News) - Friends of Balthazar Getty's dumped wife, Rosetta Getty, have rubbished claims by the Brothers & Sisters actor that he and Rosetta had separated when he was photographed kissing a topless Sienna Miller.
According to the friends, even though their marriage was on the rocks the two were "100 per cent not separated" at the time Balthazar started dating Sienna in May.
They claim that Balthazar's "very public" affair with Sienna was "hugely upsetting" for Rosetta.
"Sienna has not come out of this well, especially as Rosetta has kept a very low profile while Sienna has been all over him," one friend explains.
Balthazar and a topless Sienna were photographed frolicking on a boat, by the sea side, and on a hotel balcony while on holiday in Poitano, Italy.
Balthazar recently responded to the leak of the intimate photographs over the internet with the following statement.
"The breakdown of a marriage is a very difficult and painful experience especially when children are involved," he said. "In light of the fact that many pictures have surfaced in print and on the Internet, which has caused myself and my family great embarrassment, I felt it necessary to at least acknowledge publicly that yes indeed my wife and I have separated and I will not be commenting any further."
Balthazar has been married to Rosetta for eight years and has four children with her, the youngest of whom is just nine months old.
