July 30, 2008 (Sawf News) - Barack Obama has reacted to a TV ad released Senator John McCain's election team that alludes to Obama being a celebrity in the Britney Spears and Paris Hilton vein, not a leader.
"I don't pay attention to what McCain says," Obama told an MSNBC reporter when asked about the ad, "although I do notice that he doesn't seem to have anything very positive to say about himself, does he? He seems to always be talking about me. You need to ask John McCain what he's for, not what he's against."
Here is the TV ad campaign released by the McCain camp
The Obama campaign had earlier criticized McCain for resorting to negative campaign tactics.
"On a day when major news organizations across the country are taking Senator McCain to task for a steady stream of false, negative attacks, his campaign has launched yet another. Or, as some might say, 'Oops! He did it again,'" said a statement from the Obama campaign.
