"This came from a seven-minute conversation that we had at the Toronto Film Festival at a big party, and the next minute it's in all the papers," Butler told E! News at the premiere of his new movie, RocknRolla.
RocknRolla, an action and crime drama written, produced and directed by Madonna's husband Guy Ritchie, dwells on a real-estate scam in London that puts millions of pounds up for grabs, attracting the attention of the city's bad guys who want a piece of the pie.
Gerard, 39, is best known for his portrayal of King Leonidas in 300 (2006) and The Phantom in The Phantom of the Opera (2004).
