July 02, 2009, (Sawf News) - Debbie Rowe will seek custody of her two children with Michael Jackson and seek a restraining order against Joe Jackson.
"I want my children," Rowe said during a 90-minute phone conversation Thursday morning with NBCLA.
Refuting recent reports that she was not the biological mother of Michael's eldest two children - Prince Michael and Paris – Rowe said she was prepared to undergo any testing - DNA or psychological!
She added that she would not like Michael's children to split up and while she did not expect the court to grant her custody of all three of them, she would be willing to accept it.
The 50-year-old former dermatologist nurse, who relinquished custody of her children to Michael following their divorce in 2001, says she decided to seek custody following Michael's death.
"We had an agreement... he didn't keep his end," Rowe said, referring to Jackson's death. "It hasn't been easy. It's been painful."
Rowe has visitation rights with her children but is wary of dealing with the Jackson family. If she cannot make it to a visitation, the family is not ready to reschedule it, she claims.
Michael Jackson's will, signed in 2002, grants custody of his three children to his mother, Katherine, with Diana Ross as the backup. It specifically excludes Rowe from his inheritance.
"I have intentionally omitted to provide for my former wife, Deborah Jean Rowe Jackson," the will states.
Rowe's attorney, Eric George, will attend the custody hearing scheduled for Monday, July 6, he told the Los Angeles Times.
