Beyoncé, 28, is set to perform a gig in the country's capital Kuala Lumpur on October 25, but the planned gig angered Islamic extremists, who said that the star's sexy outfits and provocative dance routines are "immoral".
It is now claimed that the star will tone down some aspects of the gig so as not to anger people in the country, which is mostly Muslim.
Other singers such as Gwen Stefani have also toned down their shows while performing in Malaysia after being the subject of protest threats.
