November 13, 2009, (Splash News) - Halle Berry will join top-notch Hollywood actresses Meryl Streep and Jodie Foster as a recipient of The Sherry Lansing Leadership Award.
Berry is set to receive her award at the annual Power 100: Women in Entertainment breakfast sponsored by The Hollywood Reporter.
The award, in its eighteenth year, goes beyond acting in recognizing groundbreaking contributions to the entertainment industry. Past recipients have included Barbara Walters, Glenn Close and Sherry Lansing.
The Power 100 breakfast, held at the Beverly Hills Hotel on December 4, draws key women players in Hollywood. This year, Hilary Swank will deliver a keynote address.
Berry, 43, has producer projects in the pipeline and is currently slated to appear in the upcoming movie Class Act.
