November 17, 2009, (Sawf News) - AEG Live is declining to pay Michael Jackson's resident physician, Dr. Conrad Murray, his two months salary since the contract for his services had not been signed by Jackson, reports TMZ.
The contract was to be signed by Murray, Jackson and AEG Live, but only Murray had signed it at the time of Jackson's death on June 25.
Miranda Sevcik, a publicist for Dr Murray's lawyer claims that the music and entertainment group owes Murray, who gave up his medical practice to serve Jackson, US$300,000.
"Dr Murray needs the money and he's entitled to the money based on the contract he signed with AEG," Sevcik said.
Dr Conrad Murray is set to launch a lawsuit against AEG for the medical services he provided for Michael Jackson.
