January 22, 2010, (Sawf News) - Britney Spears looked distraught as she left the courtroom after a conservatorship review hearing on Friday, January 22.
"She was visibly upset," a witness told OK!. "Her lipstick was all gone and her face looked puffy like she'd just had a sobbing jag."
Commissioner Reva Goetz, who met with Britney in a sealed courtroom to review her medical progress, made no changes to the two year old conservatorship that gives Britney's father Jamie Spears and attorney Andrew Wallet control over her personal and financial matters.
The Commissioner approved a request by the conservators to dispose of "certain property" and auction a dress that Britney wore to the 2008 MTV Video Music Awards to benefit Haiti earthquake relief.
The courtroom was sealed at the request of Geraldine Wyle, attorney for the conservatorship, who pointed out that personal and medical information would be discussed.
Following the hearing, Britney's court appointed attorney, Samuel Ingham, said, "She's perfectly satisfied with the disposal of property," and "she was very enthusiastic" about the Haiti donation.
Britney was reportedly hoping to regain control over her personal matters at today's hearing, as a first step towards regaining joint custody of her two children with Kevin Federline - Jayden James, 3, and Sean Preston, 2.
Following a divorce settlement reached between the couple in July 2007, Britney had primary custody of her two children under a 50/50 custody arrangement.
However, she lost physical custody to Federline on October 1, 2007, after he went to court in September over her increasingly erratic lifestyle and substance abuse.
Currently, Britney just enjoys visitation privileges with her children and pays Kevin $20,000 / month for their upbringing.
