The Twilight star has revealed that although she appears naked in her new film The Runaways, things are not what they seem.
The film is based on the 1970s all-girl rock group The Runaways, and in one of it final scenes Stewart, who plays a real-life rocker Joan Jett, is seen semi-nude underwater.
When asked if she really was nude, the 19-year-old actress said: "Yeah. But you can't see anything."
She added: "There are things you are capable of doing under the guise [of acting].
"You're so safe. Plus I was not naked. I was wearing stuff. I was wearing really, really, really unattractive nude moleskin or something. Really, really, really gross.
