Salman Khan in a still from Marigold June 22, 2007(Sawf News) – Bollywood actor Salman Khan knows a thing or two about being confined in jail so when the legal woes of the imprisoned hotel heiress, Paris Hilton became news, he had a thing or two to tell her.
Although Paris’s rap sheet, which goes only as far as a DUI while on probation, pales in comparison to Salman’s, who ran over and killed a man while driving drunk in 2002.
Nevertheless, he insists she will become a stronger person after her time behind bars.
Salman’s believes the solitude in jail helped him rethink his felonious ways (even if temporarily) and hopes the same happens for Paris.
"When you are in there, there is no one more important than you. You have to handle being alone. You have to love yourself,” tells Salman.
“Everybody should get this time to be alone. It will make her a stronger person."
