Mumbai, Sept 14 (ANI): A unique Hindi movie depicting the bonding between an illiterate child and a Bollywood actor hit theatres on Friday.

Bobby Deol, who plays the Bollywood actor in the Nanhe Jaisalmer said that he was feeling happy by associating himself with it.

"It's a feel good film and I am very happy that I am associated with this film and I am glad that I am part of this film," he said.

The film is Director Samir Karnik's attempt in making a mark in Bollywood after the failure of Kyun? Ho Gaya Na, starring Bollywood biggies like Amitabh Bachchan, Aishwarya Rai and Vivek Oberoi.

"This is a social film. This is a film on relationship, on bond between two people, Bobby Deol and Nanhe Jaisalmer," said Karnik.

Shot on a picturesque location in the desert state of Rajasthan, the film revolves around a little boy, who lives in Jaisalmer with his sister and mother.

The boy is illiterate and Bobby Deol, who is playing himself in the movie, inspires him to study.

Dwij Yadav, who plays Nanhe in the film, said Bobby Deol is his favorite actor in the real life as well.

"I am playing the role of a kid who knows four five languages but he is illiterate. I don't know the languages actually but I learned all the dialogues. I liked working with Bobby Deol," said Dwij. The film has a novel concept, and as Bollywood is on the spree of serving something different on its platter every Friday, it expected to do well. (ANI)
