19 December 2007 (Sawf News) - Bachchan bahu Aishwarya Rai is excited about her next release Jodhaa Akbar and considers her role as the Rajput princess, who was married to Mogul emperor Akbar to forge a political alliance, as one of her dream roles.

The former Miss World (1994), who was in the capital Wednesday, December 19, told the press:

"This is one of my dream roles. The story is very interesting since it is about a love story between Akbar and his queen, despite their vast cultural and religious differences. It is a very contemplative plot," she said.

Aishwarya, whose Hollywood ambitions have been put on hold because of the continuing strike by writers, says she has no plans to relocate to Hollywood.

"I am not shifting my base anywhere and am very much in Bollywood," she says.

Good idea we think and here are our reasons.

Her last Hollywood film Last Legions, and her role in it, were panned by critics and audiences alike. The film is expected to hit theaters in India early next year, but Aishwarya is probably hoping that never happens.

Aishwarya's next Hollywood venture, Pink Panther 2, will not hit the marquee till February 2009.

Sir Ben Kingsleys' film on the Taj Mahal has yet to take off since its scripting is held up by the strike.

Under the circumstances finding good roles in Hollywood films is going to be challenging for the actress.

Heck! Finding good roles even in Bollywood films could be challenging for her if she does not watch the way her waistline is expanding.
