He has said so in words, with a diamond ring and even a tattoo that is bolder than any other celebrity has had inked. A marriage, say friends, is definitely on the cards.
In late December 2007, Saif, who had just wound up filming for Kunal Kohli's next in Bangkok, said:
"I'm extremely and completely committed [to Kareena]. I've found true love and I'd like people to respect that as much as I do."
Shortly afterward on January 3, Saif had Kareena's name tattooed on his left forearm at Hakim's Alim in Bandra,
Later in January, around 10 days back, he gifted Kareena a ring studded with a light blue diamond, on the advice of his astrologer Pandit Suvashitraj, who told Saif the ring will bring stability into his life.
Both Saif's and Kareena's parents have blessed the couple.
Kareena has bonded with Saif's children, Sara and Ebrahim. She spent quality time with them while Saif was shooting in Bangkok.
A close friend of Saif tells TOI, "There's a kind of fierce and single-minded determination in Saif to make this relationship work for keeps. And, it isn't a defiant determination to disprove the cynics who say it won't last. Saif doesn't give a damn about what people say. He has always gone by his gut feelings, regardless of others."
Yes…we agree. A marriage is certainly on the cards. Our hunch is Pandit Suvashitraj may even have a date!
