Photo Credit: STAR NewsMarch 25, 2008 (Sawf News) - Bollywood actress Shilpa Shetty has trashed media speculation that she has secretly married boyfriend Raj Kundra and threatened to sue the website that published the report.
The speculation was fueled by a picture on Rediff.com, submitted by a reader, of Shilpa visiting Shirdi Sai Baba Temple along with her family and boyfriend Raj Kundra.
A report accompanying the picture attempts to turn what appears to be a straight forward user submission into a scoop by suggesting that Shilpa and Kundra had secretly tied the knot before going to the shrine to seek blessings.
No source is quoted for the scoop.
"Shilpa is flabbergasted with such irresponsible journalism," said her publicist Dale Bhagwagar.
Shilpa may file for defamation if prompt action is not taken by the website, he adds.
