September 18, 2008 (Sawf News) - A special episode of Aajaa Mahi Vay titled Dilwalon Ka Khandaan pays a tribute to the Khans of Bollywood.
The female contestants flagged off the show by paying tribute to judge Saroj Khan, the only Khan of Bollywood to have made the leading Khan's dance to her tunes!
When Saroj was asked as to who was her most challenging Bollywood student, prompt came the reply, Sanjay Dutt.
She talked about the challenges she faced while choreographing the song Tamma Tamma De De during the making of the movie Thanedaar.

The highlight of the evening and the most unexpected moment takes place when the ace chorographer adopts Maanika as her most preferred student and promises to tutor her during the competition!
The first performance of the show was dedicated to Salman Khan with Jashan - Tahira performing on Chaand Chupa Badal Mein from Hum Dil De Chuke Sanam. Unfortunately, they cannot impress the judges with their performance and end up scoring poorly yet again.

Maanav - Rashmee were unable to impress the love gurus with their dedication to Shah Rukh Khan with "Dhoom Taana" from "Om Shanti Om". Acknowledging judge Ronit Roy's attempt to reunite Rashmee and her family, Rashmee's mother makes an appearance on the show and voices her concern for her daughter as well as clarifies her husband's perspective on the issue.
Bringing respite to the tensed atmosphere, Sherjil - Sneha showcase their dedication to Shah Rukh Khan and Saif Ali Khan with a beautifully choreographed performance on the title song of Main Hoon Na and Khwab Dekhe from Race leaving the judges extremely impressed by their choreography and dance.
