September 22, 2008 (Sawf News) - Imran Khan and Sanjay Dutt attended a press conference hosted by the young producer Dhilin Mehta of Shree Ashtavinayak Cine Vision for their forthcoming film Kidnap at Taj Lands Ends in Bandra, Mumbai on September 20.

Director Sanjay Gadhvi, Sanjay Dutt, Imran Khan along with the producer talked about the film and answered questions.
Imran, dressed in faded jeans and dark blue fish pattern Tee, sported the trendy scruffy look but even the facial foliage and uncombed hair could not take the focus away from his rather bushy eyebrows.

The 25-year-old actor who is appearing in his second film after the hugely successful Jaane Tu Ya Jaane Na credited his director for his makeover.
"It's a Sanjay Gadhvi film. You have to look hot and sexy - its in the contract!!!" he said.
Sanjay Dutt talked warmly about Imran Khan and expressed how he readily related to the film as a father.

Dutt also revealed that he is writing his autobiography and his wife, Manyata, is helping him a lot with the project; she has been meeting with a lot of publishers lately on his behalf.
Minissha Lamba couldn't attend the event due to prior commitments. In the film, Minissha makes a break from her past 'good girl' roles and shows a lot of skin in bikinis, short skirts and cleavage revealing tops. The actress is pretty unfazed with the transition and says she lets the role choose her makeover.
Just for the record, we have no problems with that.
Kidnap is the story of a girl Sonia (Minissha Lamba) who lives with her mother, Mallika ( Vidya Malavade) and her maternal grand mother. Her parents were divorced when she was 10 years old.
And then, one day, a week before her 18th birthday… Sonia gets kidnapped. The kidnapper, Kabir (Imran Khan) will talk only to Vikrant Raina (Sanjay Dutt) and no one else!
Vikrant Raina (Sanjay Dutt) is the world's richest Indian. A businessman, he is the President of Raina Inc. Divorced, he lives in New York. Vikrant Raina comes to India to save his daughter.
Vikrant is to do certain 'tasks' set out by Kabir. At the end of each of the 'tasks' is a clue. Each clue will take Vikrant closer to Sonia. If he does not save his daughter, nothing will. The real drama unfolds beyond the actual 'tasks'.
How far will a father go to save his daughter?
Kidnap will open in theaters on October 2 in India. Film's release overseas has been brought forward to October 1, to coincide with id celebrations.
