September 30, 2008, (Sawf News) - Acknowledging the evolving dynamics of world cinema and the fascination of Indians for James Bond, Sony Pictures will release Quantum of Solace in India ahead of the US!

The Daniel Craig starrer will premiere in the UK on Oct 31, in India on Nov 7 and in the US on Nov 14, according to The Hollywood Reporter

"James Bond has a huge equity in this country, and Bond films have always been a hit here," says Mumbia based Kercy Daruwalla, Sony Pictures Releasing India managing director.

Solace will release on about 700 prints dubbed in regional languages Hindi, Tamil and Telegu, "which could make this the biggest Hollywood release of the year here," Daruwalla added.

Marc Foster directed 22nd installment of the Bonds series, Solace, is a sequel to Casino Royale (2007). Daniel Craig reprises his role as Ian Fleming's super-spy James Bond, picking up where the last film left off.

Betrayed by Vesper, the woman he loved, 007 fights the urge to make his latest mission personal.

Beginning an hour after Casino Royale ended, the film starts with Bond in a car chase in Siena, Italy.

After his capture, Bond and M interrogate Mr White who reveals that the organization which blackmailed Vesper is far more dangerous and complex. He reveals that White's organization, Quantum, has agents in Her Majesty's Government and the Central Intelligence Agency.

Forensic evidence of an MI6 traitor leads Bond to Haiti, where he meets beautiful but feisty Camille, the woman who has her own vendetta. She helps him find Dominic Greene, a ruthless businessman and chairman of Greene Planet, the legitimate cover for Quantum.

Greene intends to use his government contacts to help overthrow the current regime in Bolivia, and place the exiled General Medrano as the head of state. Medrano will in exchange give him a barren piece of land, which will actually give them total control of the nation's water supply.

Bond travels to Austria and South America to unravel Greene's plan, staying one step ahead of the CIA, terrorists, and M whilst trying to keep his desire for retribution over Vesper Lynd's death in check.

Rest of the film's cast includes: Mathieu Amalric as Dominic Greene a leading member of Quantum, Olga Kurylenko plays Camille, a Russian-Bolivian agent, Judi Dench as M, Jesper Christensen plays Mr. White and Jeffrey Wright as Felix Leiter, Bond's CIA ally.
