Vidya fans are desperate to see her get hooked but her upcoming film, Ishqia, turned out to be a bummer because her co-stars in it are Arshad Warsi and Naseeruddin Shah, who don't come through as hook up types, even ignoring the fact that they are very married with kids!
Balan is shooting with Arshad Warsi in Wai and being with Arshad comes as a relief to her.
"Vidya is happy that this time the media will not be able to link her with her costar. Arshad is a friend! Also he is married with two kids. So she is glad that she will be spared link ups this time," a source said.
However, we are not sure Vidya is going to get off the hook that easily. There have been reports that Arshad's ten year old marriage with wife Maria is beginning to unravel.
Acknowledging the strain in their relationship, which he attributes to work commitments, Arshad recently told the press that he is determined to stand by the former MTV VJ.
Ishqia is produced by Vishal Bharadwaj and Shemaroo. Vishal's assistant Abhishek Chaubey has penned the script and is helming the project. Gulzar has penned the lyrics and Vishal is composing the musical score.
The film revolves around three romantic personalities played by Arshad, Vidya and Naseer. Vidya Balan plays a scheming woman, two-timing the uncle and nephew played by Naseer and Arshad.
