January 05, 2009, (Sawf News) - Embittered by his experience of working in Mudassar Aziz directed Dulha Mil Gaya, Shah Rukh Khan has decided not to make any more guest appearances.

Shah Rukh agreed to make a guest appearance in Dulha Mil Gaya, which headlines Sushmita Sen and Fardeen Khan, because the film's producer, Vivek Vaswani, had helped him during Shah Rukh's early Bollywood days. However, delays in production of the film led to scheduling conflicts with Shah Rukh's other commitments and he was unable to give Vaswani fresh dates for a long time. According to rumor mills, Shah Rukh was also unhappy that his cameo in the film was being projected as a lead role to sell the film to distributors.

Shah Rukh Khan eventually completed filming his guest appearance in December, before leaving for the US to work on Karan Johar's My Name is Khan.

While on the set of Dulha Mil Gaya, Shah Rukh hurt his left shoulder while performing a stunt.

Talking about his experience of working in Dulha Mil Gaya with HT, Shah Rukh emphasized that it wasn't his film.

"That's not my film. I've acted in for four-five days the way I did for Bhoothnath. I did Dulha Mil Gaya because the producer Vivek (Vaswani) did a lot for me.

They're working hard on the film but unfortunately because of me it's been delayed. I've finished it now and god has repaid me back by hurting me on the sets of Dulha Mil Gaya.

So I'm very clear that I've got my fee and I hope it does well. Having said that I won't be doing any more guest appearances now. I get very disturbed when a film gets held up because of me. Everything hinges around a guest star even if I'm not the core of the film.

It's not worth it, I don't charge for the guest appearances. I just do it as friend. but it ends up giving a wrong signal to the viewer. They expect me to be on the screen longer."

Shah Rukh's bitterness is probably acute because the shoulder injury he sustained has continued to plague him on the set of My Name is Khan and forced him to rest and seek medical help in LA.
