Padukone's scanty attire in the item song is a deep(ika) departure from the ethnic dresses that she wore in her debut film Om Shanti Om, playing a Bollywood diva of the 1980s.
We are not sure her show of skin will rouse anyone, though.
The disco song is sung by Neeraj Shreedhar and Tulsi Kumar, composed by Pritam, lyrics by Gulzar and famously choreographed by Farha Khan.

The dismal quality and the incoherence of its promos released on the web so far make it hard for us to warm up to the film, which may end up setting new standards in Bollywood mindlessness.
The story of Billu Barber is inspired from the mythological tale of Krishna and Sudama. Shah Rukh and Irrfan Khan play two childhood friends who grow up and study together in a village. The two drift apart when Shah Rukh moves to a city and becomes super star Sahir Khan. Irrfan grows up to become the village barber.
When Shah Rukh returns to the village with a film unit everyone wants Billu to meet the superstar, but Billu is unsure if Sahir will recognize him.
