April 02, 2009, (Sawf News) - The Mumbai police have registered a complaint against Bollywood star Akshay Kumar for getting his jeans unzipped by his wife Twinkly Khanna in full public view.

The incident happened on Monday, March 30, when Akshay walked the ramp at Tarun Tahiliani's Levi's show in Mumbai during, Lakme Fashion Week.

Akshay who is brand ambassador for Levi's since 2008, added a naughty new dimension to Levi’s 'Live Unbuttoned' campaign when he motioned his glamorous wife Twinkle Khanna to unzip him on the ramp during Lakme Fashion Week.

A female model was to unzip the hunky 41-year-old Bollywood star but Akshay gestured the model off and instead asked Twinkle, who was watching him strut his stuff from the front row, do the honors.

Anil Nair, who claims to be a social activist, has complained to the police that Akshay performed an "obscene" act in full public view.

Mumbai Deputy Commissioner of Police Nisar Tamboli says the police would enquire into it.

"If they are found guilty of obscenity, then we shall initiate appropriate proceedings against the actor and the organizers," Tamboli said.
