April 04, 2009, (Sawf News) - Ashoke Vishwanathan helmed murder mystery, Diamond Murders stars Rajit Kapur, Priyanshu Chatterjee, Simone Singh, Victor Banerjee and Raj Zutshi.

The Unilux Films’ thriller has characters who shuffle between time zones in the mind of the protagonist seeking answers to the unknown.

The unit had an interesting shoot at BB Bungalow at Mudh Island and we were on site.

Most of the filming involved Rajit Kapur, Priyanshu Chatterjee and Toby the four-legged detective assistant on a quest for the mysterious coveted diamond.

There was also an interesting underwater jewel sequence shot with Priyanshu Chatterjee and Simone Singh.

While Rajit Kapur seemed to be changing from one guise to another, Priyanshu Chatterjee was haute and happening looking straight out of Tum Bin, while Kolkatta’s singing sensation June Bannerjee crooned for her video that starred Simone Singh.

Cinematographer Vivek Banerjee was at his trickiest best using camera techniques instead of the chroma to shoot double roles of Raj Zutshi, while director Ashoke Vishwanathan was seen talking about an interesting sequence where Sherlock Holmes comes to life in the Bollywood flick to meet Rajit Kapur.
