She accessorized with beaded thong sandals, chunky triple drop earrings, a sparkling bracelet in her left arm and her wedding rock in the left hand ring finger.
Her signature lustrous hair draped her shoulders. She wore thick kajal and bronze lip color.
Tandon, who is the ambassador for the campaign, features in a public service announcement released on the occasion.
Others attending the event included paediatric surgeons Shaina NC and Dr Santosh Karmarkar, and Mrs Janhanvi Modi from the Spina Bifida Support Group, who worked together to organize the campaign.
A full time mom of two toddlers, the 34-year-old actress has remained committed to public service. She is a PETA supporter and has appeared in their ad campaigns.
In June 2006, Tandon contributed to the Lotus Eye Hospital in Mumbai for underprivileged children.
Her last film was Anees Bazmee directed Sandwich in 2006. She was a celebrity judge on a children reality show on 9X - Chak De Bachche in 2008.
She is rumored to be poised for a Bollywood comeback. As to the roles she prefers Raveena says, "Anything that excites me, I'll do. It doesn't have to do with only offbeat cinema or serious roles."
