According to the Mumbai Mirror, Kiran Rao was found to be three months pregnant after she was admitted at Breach Candy Hospital in South Mumbai for fever on May 31.
Rao stayed in the hospital for a week while her fever was treated, though its cause could not be determined.
Khan married Rao on December 28, 2005, after meeting her on the sets of Ashutosh Gowariker’s Lagaan (2001), where she worked as an assistant director.
Khan was earlier married to Reena Dutta and has two children with her - 16-year-old Junaid and 11-year-old Ira. He divorced Dutta in December 2002, after 15 years of marriage. The children stay with their mother.
