“The DNA report has confirmed the rape of the victim,” said Amitabh Gupta, Additional Police Commissioner, adding, “the report has corroborated the allegations in the FIR that the actor had raped his domestic help.”
The girl's rape was confirmed based on injuries to her private part and a positive DNA identification, which means Ahuja's DNA was found on the victims body or clothing.
Ahuja's blood and urine samples indicated that he was not under the influence of drugs or alcohol at the time of the crime.
Ahuja is accused of raping the victim, who worked as domestic help in his house, on Sunday, June 14. He is currently in judicial custody till July 2 and has sought bail from a session court on the grounds that his interrogation and medical examination have been completed.
His wife, Anupam Ahuja, categorically asserted during a press conference on June 17 that her husband had been framed.
"My man is innocent. He has been framed. I am proud of Shiney," she repeated several times.
